23 things: the list

Start date: June 7th, 2009

End Date: November 9th, 2009 (my birthday)

1) Learn Japanese.

2) Finish Fairy cross-stitch project.

3) Paint and decorate my living room.

4) Ditto kitchen.

5) Ditto computer room/possible someday nursery  (2 mature adults need somewhere to stash large collection of stuffed animals and Nintendo paraphernalia).  Thankful for spell check because I can’t spell paraphernalia. Oops, guess I can now.

6) Fit comfortably back into size 14 jeans.

7) Finish Christmas house cross-stitch project.

8 ) Knit a wearable pair of socks. Wear them. (Notice the words wearable and pair.)  Is wearable a word? I guess so, since no angry red lines appear beneath it. My name always has an angry red line beneath it.

9) Establish 10 FlyLady habits. (See flylady.net)

10) Put $500 in Savings.

11) Get a job. See # 10.

12) Adopt GOOD principles of money management. (see thegetoutofdebtbook.org)

13) Learn to type 30 wpm. (I don’t even know how to type right now.)

14) Learn to play at least 3 church hymns on the keyboard.

15) Assemble dollhouse.

16) Finish dollhouse family.

17) Read 5 books I own but haven’t read yet. (The three books I bought today don’t count).

18) Call, write or email 3 people per week-Ma doesn’t count in this one b/c I talk to her anyway.

19) Pray/talk to God everyday. Try very hard not to miss more than 7 days.

20) Go to Church every Sunday. Try very hard not to miss more than 3 Sundays.

21) Read Gospel/reading every day. Try very hard not to miss more than 7 days.

22) Do something for charity/good cause every month besides giving money.

23) Draw 3 drawings per week. Do a warm-up exercise before each drawing.
